Intrepid Collection Sneak Preview!

There’s nothing like a springtime Ramadan. Warm, breezy days. Cool, windy nights. A splash of rain just after sunrise. And while we're loving every minute of this 70-degree weather, we couldn’t resist firing up the grill for an outdoor BBQ! 

Today in Part III of the Zeena Ramadan Series, we're sharing a few of our grilling secrets to get your family rolling out the picnic blankets for an iftar under the stars. And because it's never too early to start planning your Eid festival wardrobe, get ready to shine with a sneak preview of the Intrepid Collection! 

Shrimp Grill - Recipe of the Week

In our house, we love eating outside under a big patio umbrella. The shoes come off, the string lights come on, and when it's time to break our fasts, the smoky aromas rising from the grill are downright heavenly. Start a new tradition in your home with mouthwatering summer flavors in our Recipe of the Week: Shrimp Grill with Asparagus and Lamb Chops!

Shrimp Grill 
Ingredients
15-20 un-peeled shrimp; slice through lengthwise before marinating. 
3 Tablespoons olive oil 
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
Black Pepper
Cajun Seasoning

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, black pepper and cajun seasoning, and marinate. Pre-heat grill to medium/high heat (or when the coals turn white). Skewer shrimp and grill each side for 2 minutes or until hot pink.

 

Grilled Lamb Chops

Grilled Lamb Chops 
Ingredients
1 Rack Of Lamb (sliced into single pieces) 
Grill-Mate Montreal Steak Seasoning 
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons olive oil 
Honey
 
In a bowl, pour a small amount of vinegar. Add ingredients in the same bowl and massage into lamb chops. Lay the lamb chops on a tray and drizzle with honey. Leave for an hour in the refrigerator. Before grilling, let it sit for 20 minutes at room temperature. Pre-heat grill to medium/high heat and grill each side 2-3 min depending on thickness. Check frequently. 

Add Asparagus on the grill for a great side dish. Wrap asparagus in foil with olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme, and let it cook while you're grilling your lamb chops and shrimp (5-8 min).
