Our Best Eid Looks from Instagram
Posted on 08 August 2019
Eid Mubarak everyone! Are we the only ones who feel like every year Eid al-Adha always sneaks up on us? Just when we finally put away all the decor from Ramadan, before we know it, we're hanging them back up again and whipping up a few batches of homemade knafe! And while we always look forward to a big feast, soulful reflections and getting together with family and friends, the holidays are also a time to look your best and celebrate the end of another wonderful Hajj season! Today on the blog, we're having an Instagram flashback and sharing Our Best Eid Looks from our timeline. If you're on the fence about what to wear this eid, we hope to inspire your modest style with snapshots from the past. Plus, take a peek at an oldie-but-goody, "How to Dress for Special Occasions" Parts 1 & 2.
The newest member of our 2019 Eid Collection, the Belted Wrap Dress - Chains. We love the versatility of this gorgeous black satin dream. Be sure to catch our stories on Instagram for a peek at how Zeena CEO Bayan Jondy styles this exclusive for the holiday weekend ahead!
This has to be one of our all-time favorite casual eid looks! Take a walk on the sparking side by pairing a shimmery sequin tank with one of our embellished collars. Add a pop of color with the Modern Relaxed Blazer in Taffy and you're all set to shine.
Whether you go monochromatic with the Ray Classic Set in Indigo or stick to neutrals this holiday, let your hijab be the center of attention by choosing a vibrant print or beaded wrap. We often find ourselves changing outfits at least once, so having a coordinated, go-to look at the ready is a smooth move for saving time and energy on eid.
The key to twinning (even when you're not twins!) is to stand apart with a fun printed blouse and accessories. For an effortless eid brunch ensemble, try dressing up a simple black maxi with a loose, relaxed fit top and a nude heel.
Flashback to Eid 2018...the one when we shared Amany's top-secret chocolate chip cookie recipe. This was a time right when the kimono trend was at its peak...and as far as we're concerned, it still is! (We even dedicated an entire post to why we love kimonos!) If you're attending a summertime, outdoor eid soiree, try draping a breezy floor-length kimono over your best pair of palazzos and a cute tucked-in top.
